Veterans can now swallow a camera capsule and go about their day at home instead of completing the procedure in-clinic, with images transmitted to a wearable recorder for physician review. The rollout targets veterans managing iron deficiency or unexplained bleeding who face travel or sedation barriers.

Researchers across Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, and Poland assessed fully and partially remote administration of the OMOM CC100 colon capsule system in over 100 patients, evaluating completion rates, bowel-prep quality, and patient satisfaction. OMOM capsules are manufactured by Jinshan Science & Technology, another GIDHI partner brand.
